Marine Platforms has been issued a 1st place award as a Nigerian indigenous service provider with the most impactful contribution to local content development within the period of 2017 to April 2019. This award was given during the 2nd edition of the Nigeria oil and gas opportunity fair which began on the 4th of April 2019. The fair comprised of various conference and exhibition sessions which Marine Platforms was a part of.

This award is coming months after Marine Platforms was awarded a contractor recognition certificate by Chevron Nigeria Limited during the Chevron contractors line management safety forum which was held on 27th February 2019 in Lagos Nigeria.
