Marine Platforms has been awarded a contractor recognition certificate by Chevron Nigeria Limited during the Chevron contractors line management safety forum which was held on 27th February 2019 in Lagos, Nigeria.

The award was given in recognition of working over 50,000 manhours for the Nigerian and mid-Africa strategic business unit without a recordable injury in the year 2018.

This award is coming months after Marine Platforms celebrated 2 million-man hours without lost time incident on the Agbami field operations after almost a decade of operations on the Chevron Stardeep Agbami field with Marine Platforms owned and chartered vessels.

Marine Platforms currently delivers the provision of Inspection, Repair and Maintenance services (IRM) on the Agbami field. Marine Platforms also delivers the Agbami phase 3 transportation, installation, and pre-commissioning of umbilicals, risers, flowlines, flexible pipelines, manifolds, and jumpers. Both contracts run concurrently.
